THE CONFERENCE

13th Austrian Geotechnical Conference (ÖGT)

The well-established Austrian Geotechnical Conference will take place parallel to the fair. The participants can take part in numerous lectures under the heading "Foundations" and have lots of possibilities for networking during two days. Theory and praxis are brought together by cooperating with the Vienna University of Technology and the ÖIAV (Austrian Society for Engineers and Architects) and the concurrently running VÖBU FAIR. This is what makes the event THE meeting point for the industry in Austria in a compact way.

THE LOCATION

MESSE WIEN CONGRESS CENTER

Vienna is a popular congress destination not least because of the new MESSE Wien Exhibition & Congress Center. This center is one of the state-of-the-art event and conference buildings in Europe. 
The generous and innovative hall structure, modern equipment, the atmosphere and - last but not least - the professional service of Reed Exhibitions and their partners make the Congress Center the ideal event location for the VÖBU FAIR + ÖGT.
In addition, an appendant parking deck and the Austria Trend Hotel "Messe Wien"*** are located next to the exhibition center. Public traffic accessibility is also perfectly given by the metro (U2 Messe).
